Over at Faithfully Liberal we were able to ask our own Rev. Chuck Currie a few questions.

A highlight of the interview included his advice to individuals regarding the homeless:
I do my best to acknowledge people on the streets. Often times you hear people who are homeless complain that they become invisible. So I try to see people and to share a word. But I’m like most people. Sometimes I’m in too much of a hurry to stop and talk. Just saying "hello" can make a difference, however. A lot of people come to our church office asking for food and we do give out what we have. Our congregation also does food drives and what we gather is given to a local food bank. I don’t often give out money to people on the streets but I sometimes break that rule if I have a couple extra dollars on me.
Furthering the Q & A session we asked him about the upcoming election as well as the crossroads of faith and politics. So please check it out.
